
Daniel Vildósola is an award-winning guitarist. He is a composer/arranger, producer and teacher.
Daniel Vildósola has recently earned a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance at the University of Arizona. Daniel has been a prizewinner in various classical guitar competitions including the Leonard and David Schaeffer Memorial Guitar Competition (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) and the William Wolfe Guitar Competition (2005, 2006, and 2007). Daniel has performed in master classes for several of the leading figures in the classical industry including Sergio Assad, David Russell, Paul O’dette and Bartolome Diaz.
His musical background includes not only classical, but also jazz and popular music. He has studied jazz with the highly accomplished Hollywood studio guitarist, Ralph Grasso. Daniel’s versatility has opened many doors for him. He has performed with various jazz groups regionally, notably the Arizona Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has been one of the first guitarists to record select Nelson Riddle arrangements with a symphony orchestra.
Daniel enjoys teaching rock, jazz and classical guitar to students of all levels. His teachings focus on guitar technique, reading, improvisation and theory.
